Students In order to be eligible to attend any school in the University of California (UC) or the California State University (CSU) systems as a freshman, students must take certain classes in high school. These classes are known as the "A-G Subjects". Students must get a "C" or higher in each of these classes. Additionally, students will need to complete 11 of the 15 A-G requirements by the end of the junior year to be UC-eligible.
